Whilst at the recent Autosport Show we were visited on our Stand by British female Rally Driver Louise Cook and her team. Louise is 22 and has big plans to take on the boys at their own game by competing in the British Rally Championship Challenge this year. She ultimately has her sights firmly set on becoming the first female World Rally Champion and we think she has every chance of achieving this with her unshakeable determination to succeed!

PS3 launched at 2010 Autosport Show, NEC, Birmingham

Following 3 years of design and development work, Pro-Shift Technologies Limited were proud to unveil their latest and most sophisticated System to date, the PS3 at this year's Autosport Show. This new Gearshifter received a huge amount of interest from both  Trade Show visitors and the media  alike and looks destined to become a world leader in the Motorsport market-place.

Please read on for brief details of the many features the PS3 offers:-

• Fully closed loop technology using rotary pot feedback with adjustable windows for instant valid gear detection
• Stand alone closed loop technology, featuring linear feedback recognition
• A unique world's first making closed loop now possible on cars and bikes without rotary potentiometer feedback
• Open loop which amazingly still features graduated ignition cuts with automatic neutral detection and acquisition
• Fully adjustable gearshift specific individually timed operations for every upshift and downshift
• Graduated ignition or fuel injection cuts (programmable for all upshifts)
• Soft ignition or fuel injection restore if desired after ignition or fuel cut (programmable for all upshifts)
• Auto Upshift at pre-programmed max power RPM, press and hold upshift paddle or button (programmable for all upshifts)
• Programmable max engine RPM rev limiter
• 1-12 Cylinder RPM recognition and measurement parameters
• Compatible with our Auto-Blip Downshifters offering graduated "on times", either vacuum or electrically operated units available (programmable for all gears)
• Gear specific safe max RPM Downshift "lock out" which prevents downshift engine overrev (programmable for all gears)
• Auto-Retry of any miss-selected gear (upshift or downshift)
• Auto Neutral Selection, including multiple shift facility from any gear to select neutral
• Up and Downshift "on times" for gearshift solenoid (programmable for all gears)
• All parameters on the PS3 are fully adjustable by the PC down to 1mS (millisecond) increments
• Emergency Mode to bypass gearshift parameter restrictions should this prove necessary

Equally suitable for racecars and superbikes, this truly unique patented gearshifting system will not only provide F1 style gearshifting technology for top of the range racecars fitted with rotary gearbox potentiometers it will also provide a fully integrated stand alone closed loop system for vehicles without rotary pots thus extending the technology available to these vehicles at a very affordable price. The PS3 also provides a world's first for superbike engines as the system can also provide stand alone truly closed loop technology which was previously unavailable on superbike engines until now, however using the Pro-Shift's unique linear feedback recognition system we can now provide all of the benefits that you get with a racecar's feedback on all superbike engines.

Roy Tansley hasn't let two serious motorcycle accidents stand in the way of propelling his Motorsport engineering business Pro-Shift Technologies Limited into the fast lane. Roy designs and manufactures bespoke semi-automatic Gearshifting Systems for sequentially geared vehicles and beat off stiff competition to make the final 3 short-list for The Stelios Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs, sponsored by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. He enjoyed an excellent night at the Awards Ceremony held at The London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in November 2009.

PRO-SHIFT AND DREWER WIN FIRST 2 ROUNDS OF THE IMSA LITES L2 CHAMPIONSHIP (MARCH 2008, SEBRING, USA)

Winning Australian driver Tom Drewer sang the new Pro-Shift PS2 System's praises and commented that "the flat upshift was flawless".

PRO-SHIFT CREATES FASTEST QUALIFIER IN NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP

Rider Pete Goodwin recently became the fastest qualifier and is currently placed 3rd in the New Zealand Championship. "The new Pro-Shift PS2 made a big difference to my performance...Thanks" remarked a suitably impressed Pete.

PRO-SHIFT AND USA F1 CAR HOLD OUTRIGHT RECORD AT MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK

Lee Williams of Williams Racing explained "along with this it has recently done the 3rd fastest lap ever of Willow Springs, coming a creditable third behind Michael Andretti and Nigel Mansell". Lee added "We are going for an outright attack on this in 2008 with the new PS2 System , this lap record is the oldest lap record anywhere in the world, it will be a big deal if we do it!"
